It's a hilarious thread and I am going to goldmine it soon. The FYAD goldmine that is.
Wonderful. So, what? I have to sit there every time some FYAD 'genius' shits on a thread to wait and see if you think it's funny or not?

That thread was lame but I'm getting pretty tired of a forum known for a member sticking butter up their ass, a weekly popularity contest and having a 3-page thread every time one of them successfully locates a female poster somehow being less pathetic than some nerds who take games too seriously. Can't we have Batman's Shameful Secret Watch instead of Games Watch?

When someone posts something as ridiculous as that guy did do you expect people to simply ignore it and say, "Thumbs up buddy!"? No, they are going to make fun of him. That post was enough to rag on the guy mercilessly. I started it, not some FYAD genius. I did the same thing to a MEGATHREAD about Grand Theft Auto a few months ago and you didn't cry about that.

I agreed with you until the last sentence. Why, Qirex, why? You probably jinxed us to FYAD mouth-breather infestation with your unkind words Hath not a comics nerd eyes? Hath not a comics nerd hands, organs, fat, pimples, glasses, passions?

The normal response to it was to have a thread in FYAD that quotes the post and everyone there has a good old time.

The GTA:SA MEGATHREAD!!!! was shit from the beginning. Aside from Kimani's post [which deserved some serious mocking] it really wasn't that bad but it got the dogpile treatment which completely wrecked everything else in the thread.

Next time you want to do that please just move the whole thing to FYAD.

Spokker you have had a lot of run-ins with mods of different forums. You need to cut the shit and stop treating everything like a FYAD popularity contest. I don't see a problem with you personally mocking the guy for his retarded post, but when you open the door for FYAD to start posting crap it crosses the line. They have gotten to the point where they believe that any thread you shit in is automatically open season for FYAD to shit in. If this happens again in the future all of your FYAD buddies who ride your coattails into GBS, Games, or wherever else are going to get hit with a ban.

I disagree. The way I see it, it's no different then taking out worst admin ever and wrecking havoc in GBS. This is a small scale invasion that happens once in a blue moon of threads that are just mind numbingly dumb.

And no, it has not gotten to the point where any thread I post in automatically means FYAD can shit in it. It only happens when I say it's okay.

Then stop bringing out worst admin ever and disrupting GBS. I think it's okay to disrupt a thread once in a blue moon to rag on some guy who said something monumentally retarded. And FYAD does it best. Just like you and the other people who use the worst admin ever account think it's okay to disrupt the forums once in a while to poke fun at GBS.

I'm not asking I'm telling you not to do it anymore spokker.

When I posted telling you to stop it I had an IM from another admin in seconds thanking me for standing up to your dumbass bullying on the forums. You've pissed off multiple mods and admins here that I respect a hell of a lot more than I respect you.

The sensitivity of some people on the Internet at times can be amazing. For a web site where the number 1 commodity is insulting and criticising other people we have a lot of people on this forum that are very sensitive and take things a little too seriously. Just because I make a joke about someone, poke fun at somebody, whether it's on the forums or the front page, doesn't mean I really mean that.

Give me examples of my dumbass bullying. I had no idea I was doing anything wrong. I'm not trying to start a fight here, but I want to understand what is kosher and what is not. Why some things are okay, why some things are not.

Like it or not we're held to a bit of a higher standard. There are a ton of people who read these forums. Whether you are serious or not, a lot of people read what you write and take action based on that. Without a little restraint all SA would be is a giant flamewar.

I don't think this has much to do with sensitivity, I think it has more to do with people just being fed up with the way you move from forum to forum doing whatever you feel like and dragging half of FYAD along with you.

Most admins have a measure of self restraint. They respect the judgement of the moderators and listen to their concerns. When you see something you don't like, regardless of the forum it's in, you turn it into a spectacle that attracts FYAD posters like flies. When a moderator voices their concern you use your position as an admin to essentially ignore what they say or overrule them. That's something that only Lowtax has the right to do.

Look at the people in this thread. Do you see anyone sticking up for you? Don't you think that might mean something?

As for Worst Admin Ever, it's a joke. It's temporary. The chaos he causes is undone. Besides, comparing your normal actions as an admin to the actions of a "Worst Admin Ever" gimmick account isn't exactly the best defense I could think of.

I mean that only Lowtax has the inherent right to ignore the opinions of the mods and admins. He's not just the boss, he's the owner. If he wants to turn the whole forums into a fan site for Dragonball Z it's his right to do it.

This incident, spamming gay porn in that GBS thread, your sanctimonious dramawhoring in FYAD over that dogstar thread, pretty much any time you start posting in a non-FYAD thread and then post a thread in FYAD about it to celebrate your posting.

The other people can come forward if they want to, I don't blame them if they don't.

Edit: Also the big one is letting/encouraging FYAD to invade WDMA.

I never ever told anyone to invade WDMA. Are you talking about this? http://archives.somethingawful.com/...hreadid=1343937

All I did was post a link and comment on something I had an opinion on. I never told anyone to go post there.

Your involvement in that whole incident really was the first time I came to view you as a bully. WDMA was on the ropes because of the separation from SA so you took it upon yourself to somehow seek revenge for when your idiotic telesync bullshit backfired. Or you just did it out of pure spite. Either way, you're not fooling anyone least of all me by claiming innocence in that shit.

I'm not perfect either but when I pissed off a mod recently I knew I needed to step up and not only apologise to him for being a complete moron in GBS but also take steps to fix the situation. The mods we have here work just as hard as the admins and they care about their forums. It's not fair to go in and screw with a thread when they don't even know what's going on and it's especially unfair when they have to go in and clean up a mess later.

I simply had an opinion on one post I saw on WDMA and decided to comment on it. Why should I not comment on it?

People getting mad at me for the telesync is insane because I did it to try and temper the influx of file forum faggots onto the forums. Lowtax essentially did the same thing by getting rid of BTB. My only mistake was not talking to Lowtax about it first. But my heart was in the right place. Also, I felt that getting rid of newer movies would make us less of a target for the MPAA but Lowtax later explained to me that SA wouldn't be held liable because nothing is being hosted on SA servers.

I know the telesync shit backfired and realized I went about it the wrong way. I would have posted that WDMA thread regardless of whether the telesync fiasco happened or not. When Lowtax talked to me I stopped posting about it altogether.

I'm not interested in your excuses, because frankly I think they're all pretty goddamn weak. What I want is some slim glimmer of realization that you're a Grade-A Fuckup and you have some interest in reforming your ways. If this is all just water sliding off the back of your duck avtar then let me know now because I'll make a note in my dream journal and bring this up with Lowtax after he gets back from his honeymoon.

Something has got to give here and I'm inclined to believe it's on your end and not my end, loaded as it is with every single mod and admin on the forum who seem to hate your style of authority.

When you're an admin you face the same problems that anyone in a position of authority might face. Many people will assume that your opinions represent SA as a whole or at the very least assume that you'll be enforcing rules based solely on your opinion. That's why I've been trying to put my foot in my mouth as far as GBS is concerned so that I can help OMG put things back together in there.

Whether or not it's fair isn't an issue, but the fact remains that when any of us says something about another forum, poster, or rule people here will take what we say and run with it.

I was referring to where elpintogrande said he would bring this up with Lowtax after his honeymoon. I think we should.

I think we should have a big meeting with all the admins and staff members and get on the same page here about the forums, the front page, and the future of SA. I personally think there is some miscommunication here and I think it would help get everyone on the same page.

Horatio putting on his sunglasses.

I'll put it like this. Most of the people I've talked to and even myself at times see Spokker as the older guy who gets booze and smokes for the bullies at school. There have been two times when someone has requested something and they actually requested that if admin intervention was needed that I not contact you. The wdma thing is what got me the most. Don't even talk about everyone else taking the LOLINTERNET too seriously when you weild a fanatical herd of rabid assmonkeys like a weapon. WAE? Confuses the new folks sometimes but I've never heard anyone complain. Hell, it's almost like some kind of weird Easter Bunny and it seems that everyone enjoys it.

I wasn't really going to say anything, as I run a forum that mainly concerns itself with the best ways to kill gods and dinosaurs but if you want to know how people feel, you'll get it. Me? I think you're funny as a writer but I do see you as a bit of a bully.

I think he's trying to say that the person making the request didn't want you involved in the situation in any way. Not that they were unable to contact you, not that they didn't want to bother you, but that they didn't want you involved in the situation. I'm guessing, based on everything that's being posted here, that they were afraid it might turn into a FYAD thread and get dragged through the forums.

I think we should have a big meeting with all the admins and staff members and get on the same page here about the forums, the front page, and the future of SA. I personally think there is some miscommunication here and I think it would help get everyone on the same page.

I have to tell you I don't think it's a miscommunication and the future of SA doesn't seem to be in jeopardy by what is going on here. I think basically you need to use more restraint and that is about it, but definitely talk to lowtax.

Why wouldn't you contact me? I set my privacy settings on AIM to allow anyone to contact me and I encourage it.

Also for the record when I did have an issue with spokker I was able to get in contact with him and resolve the situation. I don't really agree with your style of admining though.

Yeah, I wouldn't hesitate in contacting you myself if I needed something taken care of, I generally contact admins at random, just trying to see who's active from the modqueue. The people that contacted me just seemed afraid of you or something like that. The issues were minor, petty stuff anyway. But, it's no huge deal. Like AreYouIn said, stars won't crash and oceans won't boil. I have enough faith in any of the admins here that if I really needed something, they'd try and help out and keep the lid on private information, at least to the general public. You know, unless I chugged an entire tank of stupid juice and decided to ask permission to have a fundraiser thread for my car insurance payment.

I'm not saying the future is in jeopardy.
